Welcome to Marathi Sathi. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

Legal Marriage Age Requirements (India):
As per the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006 and its amendments:

Males: Minimum 21 years of age
Females: Minimum 18 years of age

To use Marathi Sathi, you must:

Meet the minimum age requirements stated above
Be legally eligible to enter into marriage (not currently married, unless legally divorced/widowed)
Be of sound mind and capable of giving free consent
Create only one account per person
Register using your real identity and authentic information
Have a valid and verifiable email address

For International Users: If you reside outside India, you must also comply with the marriage age requirements of your country of residence. The minimum age restrictions of Marathi Sathi (21M/18F) still apply regardless of local laws.

2. Account Registration & Verification

You must provide accurate information during registration
Email OTP verification is mandatory for account activation
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
We reserve the right to reject, suspend, or terminate any account that violates these terms
Only one profile per individual is allowed — duplicate accounts will be removed

3. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your profile
Upload obscene, offensive, or inappropriate photos or content
Impersonate another person or create fake profiles
Use the platform for any purpose other than genuine matrimonial match-making
Harass, threaten, abuse, or stalk other users
Send spam messages, promotional content, or unsolicited communications
Collect or harvest personal data of other users for commercial purposes
Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the platform
Promote dowry, caste discrimination, or any practice prohibited by Indian law
Post content that promotes hatred based on religion, caste, race, gender, or ethnicity
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise the security of the platform

Zero Tolerance Policy: Any user found engaging in fraud, harassment, or illegal activities will be permanently banned and may be reported to law enforcement authorities.

4. Profile & Content Guidelines

Only upload your own photos — copyright-protected images of others are not allowed
Profile photos must be clear, decent, and recent
Provide truthful information about education, occupation, income, and family
Do not include contact details (phone number, email, social media handles) in your profile description or photos
We reserve the right to remove or modify any content that violates these guidelines

5. Privacy & Contact Sharing

Your surname and contact details (email, phone) are hidden until mutual interest acceptance
Only your first name, age, and basic profile info are visible to browsing users
Contact details are shared only between users who have mutually accepted interests
Messaging is available only after mutual interest acceptance

6. Subscription Plans & Payments

6.1 Plans

We offer free and premium subscription plans
Plan features, pricing, and duration are listed on our Plans page
Plans and pricing are subject to change; existing subscriptions continue at the purchased rate

6.2 Payment Terms

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay
All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise
Applicable taxes (GST) are included in the displayed price
Payment confirmation is sent to your registered email

6.3 Refund Policy

Subscription fees are non-refundable once the plan is activated
Exceptions: Refund requests within 7 days of purchase may be considered if:
- You experienced a technical issue that prevented plan usage
- A duplicate payment was made
Refund requests must be sent to service@marathisathi.com with your Profile ID and payment details
Approved refunds are processed within 7-14 business days

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, and software on this platform are owned by Marathi Sathi
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission
By uploading content (photos, descriptions), you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on our platform for matchmaking purposes
You retain ownership of your uploaded content and can remove it at any time

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

8.1 No Guarantee of Match

Marathi Sathi is a platform for connecting individuals seeking matrimonial alliances. We do not guarantee that you will find a suitable match or that any match will result in marriage.

8.2 User Responsibility

We are not responsible for the accuracy of information provided by other users
You are solely responsible for verifying claims made by other users
We recommend meeting in public places and involving family members before making commitments

8.3 Platform Availability

We strive for 24/7 availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for any loss arising from service disruptions, maintenance, or technical issues.

8.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marathi Sathi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Indian Legal Framework

This platform operates in accordance with the following Indian laws:

Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006 — Age restrictions enforced
Special Marriage Act, 1954 — For inter-community and civil marriages (recommended by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar)
Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 — Dowry demands are strictly prohibited
Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 — Women's safety and dignity protected
Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — Data privacy compliance
Information Technology Act, 2000 — Cyber law compliance
Consumer Protection Act, 2019 — Consumer rights applicable
Indian Constitution, Article 14, 15, 17, 21 — Right to equality, non-discrimination, abolition of untouchability, right to life & dignity (as drafted by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar)

Anti-Dowry Notice: As per the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, demanding or giving dowry is a criminal offense punishable with imprisonment and fine. Users must not demand or discuss dowry on this platform. Any such activity should be reported immediately.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms
Upon termination, your profile data is removed within 30 days
Active subscription fees are not refundable upon termination for policy violation

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through mediation
If mediation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Maharashtra, India
These terms are governed by the laws of India

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

१. पात्रता

कायदेशीर विवाह वय आवश्यकता (भारत):
बालविवाह प्रतिबंध कायदा, २००६ आणि त्यातील सुधारणांनुसार:

पुरुष: किमान २१ वर्षे वय
स्त्रिया: किमान १८ वर्षे वय

Marathi Sathi वापरण्यासाठी, तुम्ही:

वर नमूद केलेल्या किमान वयाच्या आवश्यकता पूर्ण करणे आवश्यक आहे
विवाहासाठी कायदेशीररित्या पात्र असणे आवश्यक आहे (सध्या विवाहित नसणे, कायदेशीर घटस्फोटित/विधवा/विधुर असल्याशिवाय)
सुदृढ मनाचे असणे आणि मुक्त संमती देण्यास सक्षम असणे आवश्यक आहे
प्रति व्यक्ती फक्त एक खाते तयार करणे आवश्यक आहे
तुमची खरी ओळख आणि अस्सल माहिती वापरून नोंदणी करणे आवश्यक आहे
वैध आणि सत्यापित करता येणारा ईमेल पत्ता असणे आवश्यक आहे

आंतरराष्ट्रीय वापरकर्त्यांसाठी: तुम्ही भारताबाहेर राहत असल्यास, तुम्ही तुमच्या निवासी देशाच्या विवाह वय आवश्यकतांचे देखील पालन करणे आवश्यक आहे. Marathi Sathi चे किमान वय निर्बंध (२१ पुरुष/१८ स्त्रिया) स्थानिक कायद्यांची पर्वा न करता लागू राहतात.

२. खाते नोंदणी आणि सत्यापन

नोंदणी दरम्यान तुम्ही अचूक माहिती प्रदान करणे आवश्यक आहे
खाते सक्रिय करण्यासाठी ईमेल OTP सत्यापन अनिवार्य आहे
तुमच्या पासवर्डची गोपनीयता राखण्याची जबाबदारी तुमची आहे
तुमच्या खात्यावर अनधिकृत प्रवेशाचा संशय असल्यास तुम्ही आम्हाला तात्काळ कळवणे आवश्यक आहे
या अटींचे उल्लंघन करणारे कोणतेही खाते नाकारण्याचा, निलंबित करण्याचा किंवा बंद करण्याचा अधिकार आम्ही राखून ठेवतो
प्रत्येक व्यक्तीसाठी फक्त एक प्रोफाइलला अनुमती आहे — डुप्लिकेट खाती काढून टाकली जातील

३. वापरकर्ता आचरण आणि प्रतिबंधित क्रियाकलाप

तुम्ही खालील गोष्टी करणार नाही याशी सहमत आहात:

तुमच्या प्रोफाइलमध्ये खोटी, दिशाभूल करणारी किंवा फसवी माहिती देणे
अश्लील, आक्षेपार्ह किंवा अनुचित फोटो किंवा सामग्री अपलोड करणे
दुसऱ्या व्यक्तीची तोतयागिरी करणे किंवा बनावट प्रोफाइल तयार करणे
खऱ्या वैवाहिक जोडीदार शोध व्यतिरिक्त इतर कोणत्याही हेतूसाठी व्यासपीठ वापरणे
इतर वापरकर्त्यांना त्रास देणे, धमकावणे, गैरवर्तन करणे किंवा पाठलाग करणे
स्पॅम संदेश, प्रचारात्मक सामग्री किंवा अनपेक्षित संवाद पाठवणे
व्यावसायिक हेतूंसाठी इतर वापरकर्त्यांचा वैयक्तिक डेटा गोळा करणे
व्यासपीठावर प्रवेश करण्यासाठी स्वयंचलित साधने, बॉट्स किंवा स्क्रॅपर्स वापरणे
हुंडा, जातीय भेदभाव किंवा भारतीय कायद्याने प्रतिबंधित कोणत्याही प्रथेला प्रोत्साहन देणे
धर्म, जात, वंश, लिंग किंवा वांशिकतेवर आधारित द्वेष पसरवणारी सामग्री पोस्ट करणे
व्यासपीठाच्या सुरक्षिततेला हॅक, व्यत्यय आणण्याचा किंवा तडजोड करण्याचा प्रयत्न करणे

शून्य सहनशीलता धोरण: फसवणूक, छळ किंवा बेकायदेशीर क्रियाकलापांमध्ये गुंतलेल्या कोणत्याही वापरकर्त्यावर कायमचा प्रतिबंध घातला जाईल आणि कायदा अंमलबजावणी अधिकाऱ्यांना कळवले जाऊ शकते.

४. प्रोफाइल आणि सामग्री मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वे

फक्त तुमचे स्वतःचे फोटो अपलोड करा — इतरांच्या कॉपीराइट-संरक्षित प्रतिमांना अनुमती नाही
प्रोफाइल फोटो स्पष्ट, सभ्य आणि अलीकडील असणे आवश्यक आहे
शिक्षण, व्यवसाय, उत्पन्न आणि कुटुंबाबद्दल सत्य माहिती द्या
तुमच्या प्रोफाइल वर्णनात किंवा फोटोमध्ये संपर्क तपशील (फोन नंबर, ईमेल, सोशल मीडिया हँडल्स) समाविष्ट करू नका
या मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वांचे उल्लंघन करणारी कोणतीही सामग्री काढून टाकण्याचा किंवा सुधारण्याचा अधिकार आम्ही राखून ठेवतो

५. गोपनीयता आणि संपर्क शेअरिंग

तुमचे आडनाव आणि संपर्क तपशील (ईमेल, फोन) परस्पर स्वारस्य स्वीकारेपर्यंत लपवलेले असतात
ब्राउझ करणाऱ्या वापरकर्त्यांना फक्त तुमचे पहिले नाव, वय आणि मूलभूत प्रोफाइल माहिती दिसते
संपर्क तपशील फक्त परस्पर स्वारस्य स्वीकारलेल्या वापरकर्त्यांमध्ये शेअर केले जातात
परस्पर स्वारस्य स्वीकारल्यानंतरच संदेश पाठवणे उपलब्ध आहे

६. सदस्यता योजना आणि पेमेंट

६.१ योजना

आम्ही मोफत आणि प्रीमियम सदस्यता योजना ऑफर करतो
योजनेची वैशिष्ट्ये, किंमती आणि कालावधी आमच्या योजना पृष्ठावर सूचीबद्ध आहेत
योजना आणि किंमती बदलू शकतात; विद्यमान सदस्यता खरेदी केलेल्या दरावर सुरू राहतात

६.२ पेमेंट अटी

पेमेंट Razorpay द्वारे सुरक्षितपणे प्रक्रिया केले जातात
सर्व किमती भारतीय रुपयांमध्ये (INR) सूचीबद्ध आहेत, अन्यथा नमूद केल्याशिवाय
लागू कर (GST) प्रदर्शित किमतीमध्ये समाविष्ट आहेत
पेमेंट पुष्टीकरण तुमच्या नोंदणीकृत ईमेलवर पाठवले जाते

६.३ परतावा धोरण

योजना सक्रिय झाल्यानंतर सदस्यता शुल्क परत न करण्यायोग्य आहे
अपवाद: खरेदीच्या ७ दिवसांच्या आत परतावा विनंत्यांचा विचार केला जाऊ शकतो जर:
- तुम्हाला तांत्रिक समस्या आली ज्यामुळे योजना वापर रोखला गेला
- डुप्लिकेट पेमेंट केले गेले
परतावा विनंत्या तुमचा प्रोफाइल आयडी आणि पेमेंट तपशीलांसह service@marathisathi.com वर पाठवाव्यात
मंजूर परतावे ७-१४ व्यावसायिक दिवसांत प्रक्रिया केले जातात

७. बौद्धिक संपदा

या व्यासपीठावरील सर्व सामग्री, डिझाइन, लोगो आणि सॉफ्टवेअर Marathi Sathi च्या मालकीचे आहेत
लिखित परवानगीशिवाय तुम्ही आमची सामग्री कॉपी, पुनरुत्पादित किंवा वितरित करू शकत नाही
सामग्री (फोटो, वर्णने) अपलोड करून, तुम्ही आम्हाला जोडीदार शोधाच्या उद्देशाने आमच्या व्यासपीठावर ती प्रदर्शित करण्यासाठी अनन्य नसलेला परवाना देता
तुम्ही तुमच्या अपलोड केलेल्या सामग्रीची मालकी कायम ठेवता आणि ती कधीही काढू शकता

८. अस्वीकरण आणि दायित्व मर्यादा

८.१ जोडीदाराची हमी नाही

Marathi Sathi हे वैवाहिक युती शोधणाऱ्या व्यक्तींना जोडणारे व्यासपीठ आहे. तुम्हाला योग्य जोडीदार मिळेल किंवा कोणत्याही जोडीचा विवाह होईल याची आम्ही हमी देत नाही.

८.२ वापरकर्त्याची जबाबदारी

इतर वापरकर्त्यांनी दिलेल्या माहितीच्या अचूकतेसाठी आम्ही जबाबदार नाही
इतर वापरकर्त्यांनी केलेल्या दाव्यांची पडताळणी करण्याची संपूर्ण जबाबदारी तुमची आहे
बांधिलकी करण्यापूर्वी सार्वजनिक ठिकाणी भेटणे आणि कुटुंबातील सदस्यांचा सहभाग घेण्याची आम्ही शिफारस करतो

८.३ व्यासपीठ उपलब्धता

आम्ही २४/७ उपलब्धतेसाठी प्रयत्न करतो परंतु अखंड प्रवेशाची हमी देत नाही. सेवा खंडन, देखभाल किंवा तांत्रिक समस्यांमुळे होणाऱ्या कोणत्याही नुकसानासाठी आम्ही जबाबदार नाही.

८.४ दायित्व मर्यादा

कायद्याने अनुमत कमाल मर्यादेपर्यंत, तुमच्या व्यासपीठाच्या वापरामुळे उद्भवणाऱ्या कोणत्याही अप्रत्यक्ष, आकस्मिक, परिणामी किंवा दंडात्मक नुकसानासाठी Marathi Sathi जबाबदार असणार नाही.

९. भारतीय कायदेशीर चौकट

हे व्यासपीठ खालील भारतीय कायद्यांनुसार कार्यरत आहे:

बालविवाह प्रतिबंध कायदा, २००६ — वय निर्बंध लागू
विशेष विवाह कायदा, १९५४ — आंतर-समुदाय आणि नागरी विवाहांसाठी (डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी शिफारस केलेले)
हुंडा प्रतिबंध कायदा, १९६१ — हुंड्याच्या मागण्यांवर कठोर बंदी आहे
कौटुंबिक हिंसाचारापासून महिलांचे संरक्षण कायदा, २००५ — महिलांची सुरक्षाआणि सन्मान संरक्षित
डिजिटल वैयक्तिक डेटा संरक्षण कायदा, २०२३ — डेटा गोपनीयता अनुपालन
माहिती तंत्रज्ञान कायदा, २००० — सायबर कायदा अनुपालन
ग्राहक संरक्षण कायदा, २०१९ — ग्राहक हक्क लागू
भारतीय संविधान, कलम १४, १५, १७, २१ — समानतेचा अधिकार, भेदभाव न करणे, अस्पृश्यता निर्मूलन, जीवन आणि सन्मानाचा अधिकार (डॉ. बी.आर. आंबेडकर यांनी मसुदा तयार केलेले)

हुंडाविरोधी सूचना: हुंडा प्रतिबंध कायदा, १९६१ नुसार, हुंडा मागणे किंवा देणे हा तुरुंगवास आणि दंडाद्वारे शिक्षापात्र गुन्हा आहे. वापरकर्त्यांनी या व्यासपीठावर हुंडा मागू नये किंवा चर्चा करू नये. अशा कोणत्याही क्रियाकलापाची तात्काळ तक्रार करावी.

१०. समाप्ती

तुम्ही आमच्याशी संपर्क साधून कधीही तुमचे खाते हटवू शकता
या अटींचे उल्लंघन केल्याबद्दल आम्ही तुमचे खाते निलंबित किंवा बंद करू शकतो
समाप्तीनंतर, तुमचा प्रोफाइल डेटा ३० दिवसांच्या आत काढून टाकला जातो
धोरण उल्लंघनासाठी समाप्तीवर सक्रिय सदस्यता शुल्क परत करण्यायोग्य नाही

११. वाद निराकरण

कोणतेही वाद प्रथम मध्यस्थी द्वारे सोडवण्याचा प्रयत्न केला जाईल
मध्यस्थी अयशस्वी झाल्यास, वाद महाराष्ट्र, भारतातील न्यायालयांच्या विशेष अधिकार क्षेत्राच्या अधीन राहतील
या अटी भारताच्या कायद्यांद्वारे शासित आहेत

१२. अटींमधील बदल

आम्ही वेळोवेळी या वापर अटींमध्ये सुधारणा करू शकतो. अद्ययावत अटी सुधारित "शेवटचे अपडेट" तारखेसह या पृष्ठावर पोस्ट केल्या जातील. बदलांनंतर व्यासपीठाचा सतत वापर म्हणजे स्वीकृती.
